Welcome to our Constructing Your Quilt Top Quilting Workshop, part of our popular monthly quilting series at Sew Mindful Crafts.
This session is a continuation workshop, where each month you’ll create a new quilt panel using a different technique. As the series progresses, designs become more detailed and help you build your skills, confidence, and precision.
Led by our experienced tutor Anita, this workshop is ideal for those who are ready to develop their quilting further and take on new creative challenges.
🧵 What to Expect at the Construct Your Quilt Top Workshop
In this 3-hour session, Anita will guide you step-by-step through constructing your quilt top.
Now that all your blocks are completed you will:
- Learn how to join all your blocks together to form your quilt top.
- Be bordering the blocks with sashings and if you want to you can add coins, but that is not necessary.
- Add the outer border to complete the quilt top
By the end of the session, you’ll have completed a beautiful quilt top and developed valuable new skills.

We provide everything you need for a relaxed and supportive session:
- Use of Brother sewing machines and overlockers
- Rotary cutters, rulers, cutting mats, scissors
- Mini irons and ironing boards
- Free tea, coffee, and juice throughout
- Access to kitchen facilities (microwave and fridge)

- 1.25m cotton fabric for your sashing & borders
- Fat Qtr of cotton fabric for the coins
- Matching thread
