As children design and create their unique Worry Monster, they’ll enjoy a relaxed, friendly environment that encourages creativity, imagination and positive conversations about feelings and emotions.
💜 Workshop Overview: Make Your Own Worry Monster
During this fun-filled two-hour workshop, children will create their very own Worry Monster using colourful fabrics, felt, decorations and craft materials.
With step-by-step guidance from our experienced tutors, children will design their monster, add fun features such as eyes, mouths and colourful decorations, before finishing their own friendly character to take home.
A Worry Monster is a fun way to encourage children to talk about their feelings. They can write or draw down a worry, place it inside their monster and talk about it with a trusted adult whenever they feel ready.
Each child will:
- Design and create their own unique Worry Monster.
- Choose from a wide variety of colourful fabrics and decorations.
- Develop creative design skills.
- Improve fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
- Build confidence through creative learning.
- Take home their own handmade Worry Monster.
Every Worry Monster will be completely unique, allowing children to express their own imagination and personality.
This workshop provides a fun, creative and supportive environment where children can enjoy making something special while developing valuable creative skills.
