Using soft, easy-to-shape air dry clay, children will enjoy sculpting, moulding and decorating their own unique designs. At the same time, they will develop creativity in a relaxed, friendly and welcoming environment.

🏺 Workshop Overview: Play with Air Dry Clay

During this fun-filled two-hour workshop, children will discover how much fun it is to work with air dry clay. They will do this by creating their own unique models, decorations and keepsakes.

With step-by-step guidance from our experienced tutors, children will learn simple sculpting techniques. Then they will bring their ideas to life through shaping, moulding and decorating their creations.

Each child will:

• Learn how to shape and mould air dry clay.
• Create their own unique clay models and decorations.
• Explore textures, patterns and creative techniques.
• Develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Build confidence through creative play.
• Take home their handmade clay creations once they have dried.

Depending on the pace of the session, children may have time to create more than one clay masterpiece.

This workshop is designed to encourage creativity, improve concentration and provide children with a fun, screen-free activity during the school holidays.

Please note that air dry clay takes time to fully harden. Depending on the size of the creation, children may need to leave their masterpiece to dry before decorating it at home, or we will advise on the best way to transport it safely.
