Led by our experienced tutors, Andrea and Linda, this Make an Appliqué Gonk Cushion – Sewing Workshop guides you through every step. You’ll learn how to:
Cut and layer fabric pieces to form your appliqué gonk design
Use fusible interfacing for a secure and tidy finish
Stitch your cushion panels and insert the padded cushion inner
Add decorative details to complete your piece with style
Use a sewing machine confidently and safely
By the end of session two, you’ll take home your own handmade cushion and a new set of sewing skills. Even if you’ve never tried appliqué before, this workshop will help you feel confident and capable.
