Well-being workshops are back !!!!!!!!!! ONLY £10 FOR A 4 WEEK COURSE, THATS £2.50 PER WORKSHOP
We are so excited to announce our next round of well-being workshops, these workshops are just the best !!!
Our well-being workshops have proven to help: Improve mental health by reducing anxiety and depression, build confidence, help with socialising and making new friends, provide new skills and opportunities in a friendly and supportive environment, our workshop area is large & bright & well equipped with all the latest equipment, and is wheelchair friendly.
NOTE: YOU ARE BOOKING FOR A 4 WEEK COURSE THAT RUNS EVERY TUESDAY 10AM – 1PM PLEASE ONLY BOOK IF YOU CAN ATTEND ALL OR MOST SESSIONS.
Workshop Description: On these workshops set out below you will learn a Varity of skills while having lots of fun and laughter.
Tuesday 18th March 10am – 1pm Introductions and learn how to use our new sewing machines, setting up and sewing. ( don’t worry if you already know how to do this you can still join in )
Tuesday 25th March 10am – 1pm Make a needle case and pin cushion
Tuesday 1st April 10am – 1pm Make a quilted make up bag
Tuesday 8th April 10am – 1pm Make a bowl cosy and pot holder
Workshop Time/Duration: Each workshop is approx 3 hours 10am – 1pm
Skill Level: Total beginner using a sewing machine, or very basic knowledge of using a sewing machine.
Requirements: just yourself and a sense of humor.
Not included: Everything is included on this course.
Included: The use of our new sewing machines, cutting mats, scissors, rotary cutters, and all workshop equipment. We will also provide a zipper, and any threads needed to complete the project.
You can help yourself to juice and water, tea & coffee from our kitchen, free of charge,.
A microwave & fridge is available to use. You can bring along a packed lunch or there is a chip shop as well as other shops in close proximity should you require anything to eat.

Free Carparking : We have a large car park to the rear of our building, or you can park straight over the road at Home Bargains. Our workshop area and the adjoining shop (Sewcute Fabrics) has wheelchair access.
