🧶 Crochet for Beginners Workshop Doncaster – Creative Yarn Craft Class for Teens

Looking for a fun and creative activity for teens in Doncaster? Join our Crochet for Beginners Workshop — a hands-on class designed for young people aged 12–18, or up to 25 with diagnosed Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Thanks to support from Doncaster’s Universal Fund, this friendly session helps teens relax, try something new, and express themselves through colour, texture, and yarn. It’s a great way to build confidence in a calm and inclusive space.

✂️ Workshop Overview: Learn to Crochet Your First Project

In this 3-hour workshop, teens will learn how to crochet a simple item. This could be a small coaster, mini square, or pouch. Each participant will:

  • Learn to hold a crochet hook and yarn

  • Try beginner stitches like chain and double crochet

  • Follow a simple, easy pattern

  • Start and personalise their first project

With step-by-step guidance, everyone will leave with a handmade item — and a big sense of achievement!

This session supports fine motor skills, focus, and creativity. Most importantly, it’s fun and stress-free.
