Our Silver Clay Pendant Workshop is a full-day, hands-on jewellery making experience. Here, you will learn how to transform Silver Metal Clay into your own beautiful piece of .999 fine silver jewellery.
Perfect for complete beginners, this relaxed workshop will guide you through the Silver Clay process from start to finish. With the support of a specialist Silver Clay tutor, you will learn how to design, shape, texture, prepare, fire and finish your own silver pendant.
By the end of the workshop, you will have created a finished handmade fine silver pendant to take home and wear.
What is Silver Clay?
Silver Clay, also known as Silver Metal Clay or Precious Metal Clay (PMC), is an exciting material. It can be shaped and textured in a similar way to traditional clay.
The clay contains tiny particles of fine silver combined with an organic binder. Once your design has been completed and fired, the binder burns away. This leaves behind a beautiful piece of .999 fine silver.
It is a fantastic introduction to jewellery making and allows beginners to create detailed and individual pieces. No previous silversmithing experience is needed.
