If you’ve always dreamed of making a patchwork quilt but aren’t sure where to begin, this is the perfect place to start. Our talented tutor Anita brings a wealth of quilting knowledge and will guide you every step of the way. 🌟
👉 Please note: This workshop is a follow-up session (Round 4) where we’ll be creating two beautiful quilt blocks — the Louisiana Block and the Goose Chase Block. 🪡📐
🌈 What You’ll Be Doing
During this workshop, you will learn to:
✂️ Measure and cut your fabric accurately
🔄 Use a rotary cutter and quilting ruler safely and effectively
🪡 Lay out and sew your fabric pieces together
🧩 Create your 4th & 5th quilt blocks — The Louisiana & Goose Chase 🤩
This workshop series will continue with new dates, introducing you to a variety of quilting blocks and showing you how to join them together to create your very own beautiful quilt. 🧶💖
🪡 What to Expect – Quilting Workshop for Beginners (Round 4)
During this hands-on session, you’ll learn essential quilting skills, including:
Measuring and accurately cutting your fabric
Correct and safe use of a rotary cutter and quilting ruler
Laying out and sewing your fabric pieces to create your 4th and 5th quilt blocks – The Louisiana & Goose chase
Each new workshop in the series introduces new quilt blocks and techniques, helping you build a collection of blocks to join together into a beautiful handmade quilt.

✅Louisiana Block: 4 separate fat quarters of fabric + matching thread
✅Goose Chase Block: 3 separate fat quarters of fabric + matching thread
(Optional: You can use additional colours – just bring extra fabric pieces!)
