Private personalised sewing lessons
Would you like to learn to sew or develop your sewing skills further, but would prefer a 1-1 sewing class, rather than a group session? Then this is the sewing lesson for you! If you’re a complete beginner or an experienced sewer looking to enhance your sewing skills, our tailored one-on-one sessions are designed just for you.

When:
Once you’ve booked your session, or sessions, one of our team will get in touch with you to arrange a date and time. Please note, as a rule we do not offer lessons outside of our normal opening hours.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. 9am – 5pm
Closed Wednesday and Sunday
What kind of lessons do you offer:
Our private lessons are tailored to your needs, once you’ve booked your session one of our team will be in touch to understand your skill level, goals, and preferences. Here are some examples of things that a private lesson could cover:
- Learning to do a specific technique e.g. inserting zips, button holes
- Making a garment from a pattern
- Drafting your own pattern
- Learning how to use a sewing machine
- Learning how to use an overlocker
- Learning new techniques
Session date and time:
Each session is for three hours. You can book more than one session, but it may not be possible to take these back-to-back e.g. if you book two sessions, we may not be able to deliver these on the same day, it depends on other bookings and availability.
Cost: £60 per three-hour session, this includes your personal attention from our tutor, use of a sewing machine and tea and coffee throughout. Any items such as fabric, trims or other haberdashery will need to be purchased separately as they are not included.
