Winter Warmth

At Sew Mindful Crafts, our Winter Warmth project is designed to support families and individuals in the south of Doncaster by providing essential winter warmth items.

We know that staying warm during the colder months can be difficult for many people, which is why we are committed to helping our community with practical support.

Our goal with Winter Warmth is to help at least 75 individuals stay warm by providing them with an essential warmth kit. Each kit includes a handmade hat, scarf, and hand warmers—small but vital items that can make a big difference when temperatures drop.

To make this happen, we’ve been fortunate to receive incredible support from our community! An army of over 20 volunteers has come together to help assemble these kits, using materials funded through generous donations and local grants. With their help, we’ve transformed fabric and supplies into practical Winter Warmth kits that will directly benefit those in need.

The Winter Warmth kits will be available to collect by attending one of our free “Coffee Time” sessions or by simply visiting Sew Mindful Crafts.

If you or someone you know would benefit from one of our Winter Warmth kits, please get in touch with Mick. You can call in, phone Mick on 01709 860 881, or email mick@sewmindfulcrafts.co.uk.

Together, we can help our community stay warm this winter!
