Our winter warmth project is to help support families and individuals with winter warmth essentials, helping residents in the south of Doncaster to stay warm over the colder months.
Our goal is to help around 75 individuals keep warm by providing them with an essential warmth kit that includes a hat, scarf and hand warmers.
To make this happen we’ve had amazing support from our community!! We’ve had an army of volunteers from our community, with more than 20 people coming in and working together to make the kits. We’ve used funding to cover the cost of the fabric and materials for this project, then with the help from our community we’ve turned these materials into usable winter warmth kits.
The kits will be available to collect by attending one of our “Coffee Time” sessions (these are free) or just by coming in to Sew Mindful Crafts.
