Our Men Only Social Group Doncaster is a free crafting programme designed exclusively for men, offering a variety of weekly creative activities. This initiative provides a welcoming space where men can connect, make friends, and learn new skills. While enjoying creative projects, participants will also have the opportunity to build confidence, talk openly, and improve their mental health and resilience.
A Community Space for Men to Create and Connect
Funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, our Men Only Social Group Doncaster runs regular weekly workshops led by our team of resident crafters. We also host monthly guest crafter sessions, typically held on the last Saturday of each month. These sessions allow men to explore different crafts and techniques in a supportive and friendly environment.
Our Weekly Programme
We offer a range of sessions to suit different interests:
- Monday (5.30pm-7.30pm) – FREE Taster Session
(Bookable online – ideal for newcomers to try out crafting activities.) - Thursday (5.30pm-7.30pm) – Self-Reflection with the Lads (£5 per person)
(A drawing and painting group that encourages creativity and mindfulness.) - Saturday (10am-1pm) – Machine Sewing with the Lads (£5 per person)
(Learn to use sewing machines, overlockers, and sewing patterns to create clothes and accessories.) - Saturday (2pm-4pm) – FREE Taster Sessions
(Another chance to try out crafting in a relaxed setting.)
