In this exciting and interactive session, children aged 5 to 11 will create beautiful, textured artwork using colourful buttons, embellishments, and craft materials — no sewing or previous experience required!

✨ Workshop Overview: Make Your Own Button Art Masterpiece

This beginner-friendly workshop offers a unique opportunity for children to explore their creativity through vibrant materials and playful design. Kids will craft their own personalised button art masterpiece using an assortment of buttons, beads, sequins, and decorations.

Whether they choose to make a heart, their initials, a favourite animal, or an abstract design, every child will leave with a one-of-a-kind creation to treasure. Moreover, they’ll enjoy the freedom to experiment with colour, shape, and layout in a supportive environment.

Guided step-by-step by a friendly, child-focused instructor, children will grow in confidence as they work on their projects. As a result, they’ll not only gain a finished piece of art, but also a sense of achievement and pride in their creative efforts.

    • All craft materials provided – including buttons, embellishments, templates, glue, and backing

❌ What You Need to Bring

Nothing at all! We provide everything your child needs. Just bring them ready to create, explore, and have fun.

⏰ Workshop Time & Duration

  • Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

  • Duration: Approx. 2 hours (with short breaks to keep things fun and relaxed)

🎓 Skill Level

This class is ideal for complete beginners aged 5 to 11 years. No crafting experience is required. Furthermore, the session is fully inclusive and tailored to suit all learning styles and abilities, ensuring every child feels supported.

This workshop is proudly supported by a grant from Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council (DMBC), as part of the Universal Fund for Children and Young People. The fund helps provide enriching, inclusive activities for young people aged up to 19 years (or up to 25 years for those with diagnosed special educational needs or disabilities).
