🧶 Universal Fund – Kids’ Crochet for Beginners (Ages 5–11rs)
Looking for a fun and creative way to keep your child engaged? Then this hands-on crochet class is the perfect introduction to the world of yarn crafts! It’s specifically designed for children aged 5–11, is beginner friendly, and helps kids build confidence, get creative, and learn a brand new skill – all while having fun.
✨ Workshop Overview: Learn to Crochet the Fun Way!
In this playful and beginner-focused crochet workshop, children will learn the basic crochet stitches, including chain stitch and single crochet, with step-by-step guidance from a friendly and experienced tutor. Each child will complete a mini crochet project to take home and be proud of!
Overall, our goal is to create a relaxed, welcoming environment where young learners of all abilities can explore their creativity and try something new.

This class is designed for complete beginners aged 5 to 11 years old. No previous crochet experience is needed, and the session is adapted for children of all learning styles and abilities.

This workshop is proudly supported by a grant from Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council (DMBC), as part of the Universal Fund for Children and Young People. Overall fund helps provide enriching, inclusive activities for young people aged up to 19 years (or up to 25 years for those with diagnosed special educational needs or disabilities).
