Cross Stitch for Adults & Children Aged 12 + Monday 7th April

This is a great new workshop for those who would like to try cross stitch or improve on their skills learning about all the different stitch styles.

THIS IS AMAZING VALUE AT ONLY £10  FOR  WORKSHOP WITH EVERYTHING INCLUDED.

Workshop Description: The basics of cross stitching are easy compared to other crafts, but in this group you will learn to do French knots, back stitching and the basic X stitch when using Aida or Even weave fabric, using DMC and Hand dyed threads. Learn how to follow and start a pattern. Prepare your thread, make a row of cross stitches and individual cross stitch, as well as use a hoop or frame. How to start and end your threads and you will also learn some of the cross stitch terms. We can also offer help and encouragement to start or finish those cross stitch project.

Workshop Time/Duration: This workshop is approx. 2.5 hours,  10am – 12.30pm  including refreshments if required.

Skill Level:  Total beginners

Requirements:  Everything is included although you can bring along any projects that you may require some help with.

Included:  All materials and all workshop equipment to use on the day.

You can help yourself to hot and cold drinks from our kitchen free of charge. 

A microwave & fridge is available to use.  You can bring along a packed lunch or there is a chip shop and other shops in close proximity should you require anything to eat.

Free Car Parking : We have a large car park to the rear of our building or you can park straight over the road at Home Bargains. Our workshop area and the adjoining shop (Sewcute Fabrics) has wheelchair access.
