🧵 Sew Your Own Wide Leg Dungarees

How cute are these?! Come and make a pair of children’s wide-leg dungarees at Sewmindful Crafts CIC. You can join our Childrens Dungaree Workshop Thursday 19th November 1.30pm-4.30pm to sew your own. With crossover straps and wide legs made for twirling, they’re as much fun to make as they are to wear!

Sizes 2-8 years

We’ll take you through the make step by step, from cutting out the fabric to stitching the final hem. The best bit? Holding up a whole outfit and getting to say, “I made that!” ✂️✨

🧵 What You’ll Do in Our Children’s Dungaree Class

This 3-hour Children’s Dungaree workshop is ideal for anyone who wants to step into a world of making children’s clothes. With guidance from our friendly tutor Denise, you’ll learn:

1. 1. Choose your size and cut out your pattern pieces (2-8yrs)
   2. Lay out the pattern on your fabric 
   3. Transfer the pattern markings
   4. Sew the fabric pieces together
   5. Hem and give everything a final press.
   6. Then hold up your finished dungarees and say, “I made these!” 🌈

To keep things simple, we provide everything you need:

• Use of our easy-to-use Brother sewing machines and equipment.

• Tea, coffee, and juice to keep you refreshed

• Small class size with step-by-step support

• Skill Level: As long as you can use a sewing machine you will be able to make these

•   Fabric – Cotton Fabric (44”/110cm wide)       Ages 2-5 – 1m needed            Age 6-8  1.5m needed
•   Elastic – 12mm wide elastic  (no more than 1/2m needed)
•   Matching thread

Dont worry if you dont have these items at home, you can always purchase from Sewcute Fabrics (next door)

          Please make sure to purchase your fabric before the class starts if needed so you don’t eat into to your sewing time, the shop opens at 9am
