This inspiring workshop is completely FREE thanks to Doncaster’s Universal Activities Grant, giving young people the opportunity to learn practical sewing skills while creating their very own trick or treat bag.
This workshop encourages creativity, builds confidence and promotes positive wellbeing in a relaxed and supportive environment.
💜 Workshop Overview:
Make & Decorate A Trick Or Treat Bag
During this enjoyable two-hour workshop, participants will decorate and then sew their very own trick or treat bag using a sewing machine.
With step-by-step guidance from our experienced tutors, participants will learn how to sew a trick or treat tote bag using a sewing machine. These can be decorated using pens etc
Each participant will:
- Learn how to safely use a sewing machine.
- Sew and assemble their own trick or treat bag.
- Decorate their bag with fabric pens.
- Build confidence using sewing equipment.
- Take home a completed trick or treat bag ( inc some special treats )
This workshop encourages creativity, builds confidence and promotes positive wellbeing in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Everything needed for the workshop is provided, including:
- Material for your bag
- Sewing machines and sewing equipment.
- Threads and colouring pens.
- Friendly step-by-step tuition.
- A completed handmade trick or treat bag to take home.
There are no hidden costs everything is included.

This workshop is perfect for complete beginners.
No previous sewing experience is required, and our experienced tutors will provide step-by-step guidance throughout the workshop, helping every participant work at their own pace.
The workshop is delivered in a relaxed, supportive environment and is suitable for all abilities.

This workshop is proudly funded through Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council’s Universal Activities Grant, allowing young people and families to enjoy high-quality creative activities completely free of charge.
Our aim is to provide inclusive opportunities that encourage creativity, improve confidence and support positive mental wellbeing while helping young people develop practical life skills and make new friends.
