👕 What You’ll Create in the T-Shirt Making Workshop
Ready to make your very own handmade t-shirt? In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to work with knit fabrics and create a stylish, professional-looking garment from start to finish. With guidance from your tutor Mikey, you’ll discover new skills that will boost your confidence with stretch fabrics and give your projects that polished, shop-bought look.
During the session, you’ll learn how to read and cut a sewing pattern for your t-shirt, use the overlocker to assemble seams with a neat, stretchy finish, and finish hems and necklines with a twin needle on a regular sewing machine. By the end, you’ll have gained the skills to make t-shirts at home with confidence.

🎨 What’s Included in the Make a T-Shirt Workshop
A Core T-Shirt pattern (sizes 0–32) to take home
Use of our overlockers, sewing machines, and tools
Free hot and cold drinks throughout the afternoon
Access to fridge and microwave if you’d like to bring a snack
🧵 What to Bring to this Workshop
Please bring your own fabric and thread. Around 2m of jersey fabric will be enough for all sizes of the t-shirt.

This workshop is perfect if you’ve already used a sewing machine and want to build confidence working with stretch fabrics. It’s also great for anyone keen to learn how to use an overlocker and twin needle finishing techniques.
